The object to checking may be rectified alcohol (before and after cooling), raw alcohol, fuel ethanol, epurate and other products of alcohol manufacturing. Operation of the instrument is based on acoustic principle. Information on ethyl alcohol concentration is transformed into direct current analogue signal and digital indicator readings given in parts of cubic content of ethyl alcohol reduced to the temperature of 20ºC. Direct current output signal may be given to technological process automatic control system (TP ACS), computer or other secondary devices. Alcoholimeter is provided for light and relay signaling, which works under condition of the alcohol concentration changing to lower (higher) to set value. In the technological process automatic control system alcoholimeter is used as a concentration detector and in manual control - as means of information for technological process correction. The use of alcoholimeter allows to improve the quality of the product manufactured and to reduce power expenses by means of optimum technological process control. Alcoholimeter consists of three units: a unit of detectors (is mounted in the technological pipeline), electronic unit (is mounted in the explosion danger area) and signaling panel (is mounted out of the explosion danger area).
