ËÈÊ MOBILE LABORATORY FOR 
INDUSTRIAL EMISSIONS CONTROL

 The ËÈÊ mobile laboratory is developed by the Stock Company "Ukranalyt" for monitoring of stack gases from the industrial enterprises. The equipment  for control of both gross emissions and mass concentrations of the main air pollutants is installed inside a specially designed mobile unit.

The vehicle manufactured by  the PO "Automash" is of type ÃÀÇ 2705 “Ãàçåëü” automobile and equipped with a power supply system. 

The  laboratory consists of the following originally designed modern analytical instruments:

- automatic analytical spectral system with the sampling and the sample conditioning units 306 ÀÑ-01;

- the ÝA2-1/20 portable electric suction apparatus;

- the ÝA4-1/20 stationary electric suction  apparatus;

- the ÝA2-75 electric suction apparatus with a high sample flow rate and so on.

The measurement process is fully automated. A personal computer which operates in accordance with a specified or standard algorithm is used for processing the measurement results. The processed information can be output on a  printer or transmitted by a modem through the typical telephone communication lines to a regional center remote by a distance of up to 2000 km.

The power supply of the  laboratory equipment can be provided either by AC mains or by two accumulators. The accumulators and a voltage converter are disposed inside the laboratory accumulator compartment.

The laboratory instrument compartment is conditioned either by the vehicle cooling system or by AC mains (220V, 50 Hz) in case of the laboratory being installed stationary in the vicinity of an emission source.

The laboratory can be advantageously used by the inspection services for monitoring of harmful gas atmospheric emissions. Its another application is to control the stack gases in technological processes so that the optimum fuel combustion in provided.

The laboratory is developed by a special request of the Ministry  of  Nature of Ukraine and proposed for use in the Ukrainian Ecological Monitoring System.
